The ATS Resume Builder is designed so that your resume content never has to leave your device. This page explains exactly what does and does not happen to your data.
Resume data
Everything you type into the resume editor - your name, contact details,
work history, education, and any other resume content - is stored only in
your browser's local storage (localStorage). It is never sent
to any server, never stored in a database, and never shared with any
third-party service. Closing your browser or clearing site data will remove
it, unless you have exported a JSON copy yourself.
When your data does leave the browser
This only happens when you take one of these explicit actions:
- Export JSON - downloads a file to your own device. Nothing is uploaded.
- Print / Save as PDF - hands the page to your browser's own print engine, which runs locally on your device.
No automatic upload, sync, or cloud backup of resume content exists in this tool.
Job description text
Text you paste into the keyword matcher is processed entirely in your browser to compare it against your resume. It is never transmitted anywhere. Like the resume, it is saved in this browser's localStorage so you can continue later, and it is removed by the Clear Local Resume Data action or when you clear this site's browser storage.
Analytics
If usage analytics are ever added to this site, they will only ever measure anonymous page-level activity (e.g. which page was visited) and will never receive resume content, job description text, or any other data you enter into the builder.
Cookies
This tool does not set its own tracking cookies. Any cookies present are limited to what the hosting platform itself may require for basic functionality.
Contact form
If you use the Contact form, the name, email, and message you provide are used only to respond to your inquiry and are not added to any marketing list.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will be revised accordingly.
